Why come to the United Kingdom?

OK, so the UK isn’t known for its sunny climate and gourmet food but there are plenty of reasons to come and live and work on this small island.

Opportunities to work

The UK is a leading trading power and a financial centre supported by a consistently strong currency. The banking and insurance industries are the greatest economical contributors which makes it a great place for accounting and finance professionals. Take a look at some Salary surveys to find out what you could earn.

Culture and history

The UK boasts some of the most extensive and impressive art galleries and museums in the world. With a wealth of history and plenty of places to experience it you’re bound to find something of interest. Visit Liverpool, this year’s European capital of culture, and if it’s a bit of drama you’re after there are over 40 theatres in central London alone.

Countryside and sport

14 national parks and many more areas of outstanding natural beauty ensure that fans of the great outdoors will never be bored. There are countrywide opportunities for outdoor pursuits such as climbing, mountain biking, sailing and much more.
